Ginger and lemon drink

Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger
  • Lemon
  • Cane sugar
  • Water
  • Cayenne pepper

Preparation

  • Peel 2 large pieces of ginger and cut into pieces
  • Peel 8 lemons (keep the peel)
  • Place the ginger and lemon pieces in the juicer and collect the juice
  • Boil 25 cl water and mix the sugar (about 100 gr) until it melts (you will get sugar cane syrup). Let it cool.
  • Mix the juice with the sugar water and add some cayenne pepper to spice it up! Keeps well in the fridge for up to a month.
    * Note: If you don't have a juicer, you can use a blender. Mix all the ingredients, press them through a sieve and add the cayenne pepper to the final drink.


-> You can drink this every morning as a detox shot or mix it with water and drink it anytime, all day long. In the summer, mix with sparkling water, add some ice cubes and enjoy this refreshing drink!

-> This detox drink will give you energy and strengthen your immune system. The ginger has an anti-inflammatory effect, the lemon brings in many vitamins and the cayenne pepper increases the effects.
